TO BE LAZY IS TO MAKE LIFE HAZY; ON LAZINESS

“Remove far from me laziness and slothfulness. Every second, minute and hour imprint upon the tablets of my heart, the need to be diligent.”

Very few tragedies can be as worse as congenital laziness  (or laziness that has been infused into the blood stream) Imagine how many opportunities you could maximize if you roused yourself up to work. The real tragedy then is not death but what dies inside a man while he lives.
Scriptures actually talks about the fact that the path of a lazy person is filled with thorns.  Th----ooo---rnnnss (ouch!) but the way of the righteous (diligent) is made plain.
“I went by the field of the slothful and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding and it was filled with thorns., nestles covered the face thereof and the stonewall thereof was broken.” – Proverbs

The thorns could be in form of tumble down shacks and so on.
The lazy one has the very best of intentions, He is always going to do something big tomorrow but never today. He has big ideas but never seems to put the ideas into practice. If he starts some project, he never sees it to completion. You are not truly free until you have been made captive by your mission in life…It was Benjamin Franklin who said “Does thou love life? Then do not squander time for it is the stuff that life is made of”

The lazy man on the other hand has no priorities. He never plans out his day. He just takes the course of least resistance, bouncing from one thing to another. That is why he is never trusted with authority.
Diligence on the other hand keeps you busy in the right direction. It frees you from vice, boredom and need.
