GIVING IS LIVING Even nature and science confirms that we must breathe out in order to breathe in. We must breathe out carbon dioxide and breathe in oxygen. Without exhaling or inhaling, you cannot live. You must give to live. Similarly, a farmer who plants crop must give seeds to the earth otherwise he will only harvest weeds. When he plants seed however, a far greater return than what he plants comes multiplied unto him.  What you give therefore is the seed that you plant. It is a fundamental law of nature that like attracts like. You cannot plant an orange and reap mango. Each is after its kind. When you give, it reproduces and multiplies. “Here is a simple rule of thumb for behaviour; Ask yourself what you want people to do for you; then grab the initiative and do it for them! If you only love the lovable, do you expect a pat on the back? Run-off-the mill sinners do that. If you only help those who help you, do you expect a medal? Garden-variety sinners do that. If you only g
🌝🌝 THE ROLE OF MEDITATION IN MIND MANAGEMENT 🙇🏻🙇🏻 This is also known as focused reflecting. Natural surroundings or a quiet room will work perfectly for meditation. Just keep still and focus on just a thought. Do not stray. Straying is the mark of an untrained mind but if you do stray, you need not to worry. You only have to return to your attention to the object of your focus. Soon your mind will grow disciplined and effective provided you do it everyday. About 15 minutes is fine. Most of us live at such a frenetic place that silence and stillness seems like something strange or something not comfortable. When you are able to spend 20 minutes meditating without your mind wandering; that shows you are taking full control of the fortress of your mind and then your mind will be able to do wonderful things for you. Meditation will also enable you to enjoy the simplest of experiences like building friendships, or enjoying the laughter of children. “One must not allow the

LUMINANCE INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK THE ROLE OF IMAGINATION IN MIND MANAGEMENT  "Imagination is more important than knowledge" -Albert Einstein    Everything is created twice really; first in your mind and then in your reality. The Burj Khalifa which is the tallest building in the world existed in somebody’s mind, it was then expressed in a plan after which it became a reality.  If you are sitting as you are reading this post, that chair existed in somebody’s mind before it became a reality. The bed you sleep on also existed in somebody’s mind as well. The truth of the matter is that you cannot feature in a future that you cannot picture. When you learn to take control of your thought and vividly imagine all that you desire from this worldly existence in a state of total expectancy, dormant forces arise to unlock the true potential of your mind to grant to you all that you desire and give you the magical life that you deserve. Expect the best and you will be astonis

LUMINANCE INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK: TITLE: MIND MANAGEMENT IS LIFE MANAGEMENT SUB TITLE: INTRODUCING MR VISION AND MRS IMAGINATION By Ishola Emmanuel. INTRODUCTION: “Most people live- whether physically, intellectually or morally- in a very restricted circle of their potential being. We all have reservoirs to draw upon of which we do not dream”- William James, English psychologist who was also famous for saying that “The greatest discovery of my generation is that people can change their lives by changing their attitudes of mind.” At all times, your aim should be to tend the garden of your mind and uproot the weeds of doubt and the thorns of fear from your most precious garden. of as within, so without. Your outer life is actually a reflection of your inner life. By caring for and nurturing your mind, you will cultivate it just like fertile, rich garden and it will blossom far beyond your expectations. On the other hand, where you let the weeds take root you deny you

LUMINANCE INSPIRATION FOR YOUR WEEK TIME MANAGEMENT IS LIFE MANAGEMENT (PART 2) An Italian Economist, Vilfredo Pareto in 1895 revealed that 80% of our activities yield only 20% of tangible results. Amazingly, 20% of our activities provide a massive 80% of results. This is what is called the Pareto principle which is named after this popular economist. Time management therefore requires that you do a cost-benefit analysis of your time to discover what is called the “vital few.” This will help you to realize the kind of activities that will help you to chart the future that you truly want and desire. Businesses talk of their R.O.E. or Return on Equity which is intended to improve the financial results of the business over what would have been in the absence of the new strategy. Your time management should increase your own R.O.E or what is called your Return on Energy. In other words, you should increase your “return on life” You should be earning the highest return on your menta
